Papania-Pitzer

Dayna Lea Papania became the bride of David Ray Pitzer on April 16 at St. Paul the Apostle Church, in New, Middletown, Ohio. Father Stephen Popovich officiated the 1:30 p.m. ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Ralph and Linda Papania of New Waterford. The bridegroom is the son of Norma Jean Pitzer of Lowell.

The bride was escorted by her father. The strapless diamond white gown, with corset back was accented with crystals and pearls at the bust and bordering her chapel train. A broach of rhinestones secured her cathedral-length veil accented with pearls. She carried a bouquet of white cabbage roses, white baby calla lilies and white gerber daisies with white centers.

Nicole Papania, served her sister as the maid of honor in a black short gown. Allison Sayre, served her cousin as matron of honor in a black short gown with an ivory sash.

In matching gowns and a bouquet of white/black gerber daisies were bridesmaids: Paige Papania, cousin of the bride; Monica Robb; Claire Anthony; and Lauren Eisenbraun. Ava Grace Sayre served her cousin as flower girl. She was dressed in an ivory sleeveless dress with ivory sequins details on skirt and a black/ivory flower in her hair.

Joseph Sayre served as best man. Groomsmen were Aaron Varga, Greg Edinger, Brian Hollister, Russell Schwendeman and Geoffrey Bennett.

A reception was held at The Lake Club in Poland, Ohio.

After a honeymoon trip to Islands of Hawaii, the couple resides in Lowell.
