Brooke Annette Schweitzer and James Darrel Galloway have announced plans for a July 16 wedding in Augusta, Ky.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Kevin and Luann Schweitzer of Augusta. A 2004 graduate of Augusta Independent, she recently graduated from Northern Kentucky University with a bachelor's in creative writing.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Charlotte and James F. Galloway of Mineral Wells. He is a 2005 graduate of Freed-Hardeman University with a master's degree in education. He is also a graduate of Glenville State College and Parkersburg South High School. He is employed by Wirt County Board of Education.
In honor of their marriage, a reception will be held Sunday, July 24, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Camden Avenue Church of Christ multipurpose room located at 2900 Camden Ave., Parkersburg.
