Lloyd and Ruth Moncrief are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, June 25, at the Lower Salem Community Center located at 112 Main Street, Lower Salem from 1 to 6 p.m. They request no gifts but cards and memories would be appreciated.
The celebration is being held by their children: Steve Moncrief of Lowell; Tammy and Rusty Moncrief of Caldwell; with the assistance from their three grandchildren: Lloyd, the son of the late Earl and Hattie Moncrief; and Ruth, the daughter of Grace and the late Russell Martin.
They were married on May 26, 1961, by the Rev. Kich at her parents home in Lowell.
The couple are currently enjoying retirement on their farm on Highland Ridge near Lowell.
