Joe and Wanda Langford will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on July 15. They were married in 1961 by Ron Laughery at the Ullman Street Church of Christ, Beverly, Ohio.
He is the son of the late Hale and Beatrice Langford of Pullman, W.Va. He is a 1958 graduate of West Virginia University, served in the U.S. Army and retired from DuPont Washington Works.
She is the daughter of the late James and Edith Coffman Laughery of Beverly. She retired from the Wood County Board of Education. Both are members of the Belpre Church of Christ and are avid Mountaineer Fans.
They have two children: Danny Langford of Saint Peters, Mo.; and Becky Layfield and her husband, Rodney, of Little Hocking.
The couple live in Little Hocking with their Jack Russell Sadie Mae.
