Abbie Leigh Brooker and Christopher Edward Brewer, both of Ravenswood, together will their parents, are announcing their engagement and upcoming wedding.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Matt and Pat Brooker of Beverly. She is the granddaughter of Anna Mae Brooker and the late Edward Brooker of Churchtown, and Wanda Thompson and the late Wayne Thompson of Malta.
She is a 2005 graduate of Fort Frye High School, a 2009 graduate of Capital University. She is a teacher at Jackson County Schools, W.Va.
The bridegroom is the son of Gary and Jeannie Brewer of Lewisburg, W.Va. and the grandson of Frances Brewer and the late Bill Brewer of Lewisburg, and Thelma Chapman and the late Gene Chapman of Marcellus, N.Y.
He is a 2004 graduate of Greenbrier East High School, a 2008 graduate of Marietta College and a 2010 graduate of Miami University. He is a teacher at Jackson County Schools, W.Va.
A July 23 wedding is being planned to be held in Beverly.
