Margaret MacNeil and Michael Spilatro were united in marriage on May 29, 2011, at Thatcher State Park in Albany, N.Y. Victoria Milne officiated the double ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Carol and Doug MacNeil of Geneva, N.Y. She is a 2003 graduate of Geneva High School and a 2007 graduate of Allegheny College. She earned her master's degree from Ball State University in 2010.
The bridegroom is the son of Jane and Steven Spilatro of Marietta. He is the grandson of Marion Spilatro of Middlesex, N.J. and JeanEllen and George Kaufman of Morristown, N.J. He is a 2003 graduate of Marietta High School and 2007 graduate of Allegheny College with a degree in physics. He is employed by University of Rochester for Laser Energenetics in Rochester, N.Y.
The matron of honor was Sarah Parente, from Pennsylvania. The best man was Daniel Spilatro, brother of the bridegroom, from California.
A dinner and dance reception followed the ceremony at The State Room, Albany, NY.
Following a honeymoon in Puerto Rico, the couple will resign in Rochester, N.Y.
