Robert and Mildred McAlarney are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary. They were married Aug. 18, 1951, at the courthouse in Marietta, by the late Rev. Myers.
The couple have two children: Wayne (Cheryl) McAlarney and Gene (Kathy) McAlarney, all of Whipple.
They have four grandchildren: Kyle (Jessica) McAlarney and great-granddaughter, Makayla McAlarney; Kaitlyn (Matthew) Weekley; Sarah McAlarney; Gregory McAlarney and great-grandson, Ethan McAlarney.
