Kathryn LeAnn Marchand and James Allen Fulks were united in marriage in a double-ring ceremony on Aug. 5 at City Soul Ministries in Vienna, W.Va. The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Luke Easter.
The bride is the daughter of Jon and Valerie Sassi of Parkersburg, and Elvin and Dennette Marchand of Nederland, Texas. She is the granddaughter of Henry and Helen Sassi of Vienna, Walter and Helen Moss of Sulphur, La., Darrell and Glenda Marchand of Nederland, and Sherry Jordan, also of Nederland.
The bridegroom is the son of David and Judith Fulks of Parkersburg. He is the grandson of Peg Snyder of Parkersburg and the late Loy Snyder, and Charlie and Dorothy Fulks of Charleston, W.Va.
Presented in marriage by both her father and step-father, the bride was attended by her sister, Megan Marchand, as the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Sarah Thompson, Rachel Runnion, Erin Burch and Renee Snider. Rebekah Sassi, sister of the bride, was the flower girl.
The bridegroom was attended by his brother, Daniel Fulks, as the best man. Groomsmen were Joseph Marchand, brother of the bride, Brice Smith, Andre Dawson and Mason Stanley. Jakob Sassi, brother of the bride, was the ring bearer.
A reception followed at City Soul Ministries. The couple honeymooned on Galveston Island, Texas and reside in Parkersburg.
