Jim and Peg Huck of Lowell are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married Aug. 26, 1961, at St. Marys Catholic Church in Marietta by the Rt. Rev. Edwin Murphy.
He is the son of the late Joseph and Ida Schaad Huck. She is the daughter of the late Robert and Anne Smith Seyler.
They are the parents of Ed (Kathy) Huck, Rob (Sue) Huck, Tim (Jody), and Lisa (Doug) Gallant.
The couple have 12 grandchildren: Elizabeth (Tamer) Ibrahim, Sarah Huck, Maggie Huck, Travis Huck, Kaitlin Huck, Beau Carder, Jill (Mark) Paul, Faith Huck, Chris Huck, Erica Gallant, Zach Gallant and Drew Gallant. Their three great-grandchildren are: Maddie Paul and Zaid and Zainab Ibrahim.
The couple's children are hosting an open house reception from 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 4 at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church Social Hall, 5001 Lowell Hill Road, Lowell. They are requesting no gifts.
