Together with their parents, Megan Rae Brothers and Zachary Ellis Zimmer announce their engagement.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Gordon and Nancy Brothers of Cambridge. She is the granddaughter of Ray and Betty Brothers of Quaker City and Irene and the late Eugene Kline of New Concord. She is a 2005 graduate of John Glenn High School, a 2009 graduate of Marietta College with degrees in accounting and mathematics and a 2010 graduate of the Ohio State University Fisher College of Business with a master's degree in accounting. She is employed by Donnelly-Boland and Associates as an accountant in Pittsburgh.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Steve and Mary Zimmer of Lowell. He is the grandson of Dean and the late Rita Zimmer of Marietta and the late Virgil and Beryldine Tucker of Lowell. He is a 2004 graduate of Fort Frye High School and a 2008 graduate of Marietta College with a bachelor's of science degree in petroleum engineering. He is employed by Chevron North America of Pittsburgh as a drilling engineer.
The wedding is planned for Sept. 24 in Marietta.
