Warren water, sewer makes appointment

The Warren Community Water and Sewer Association and its board of directors announces the appointment of Earl K. Lewis II as the new director of operations. Lewis will begin his position on Tuesday.

Peoples hires VP of retirement plans

Peoples Financial Advisors, the wealth management division of Peoples Bank, National Association (Peoples Bank), has hired Michael J. Gheen, CPA/PFS, as vice president, retirement plan manager. Gheen is responsible for overseeing the financial management of the corporate retirement plan products and services offered through Peoples Financial Advisors.

"We are excited to welcome Mike to Peoples," said Staci Matheney, senior vice president, manager of Peoples Financial Advisors. "With more than 20 years experience in the financial services arena, Mike has the knowledge and expertise to manage the extensive retirement plans we offer our clients. He has a proven track record for delivering exceptional service and managing a wide range of retirement accounts, from personal IRAs to complex custom-built corporate retirement plans," Matheney said.

Gheen earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Ohio University in Athens. A Certified Public Accountant, he is a member of the Ohio Society of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs. Gheen has also earned the designation of personal financial specialist.

Rapp joins faculty of Ohio Valley U

VIENNA, W.Va. - Diana Rapp joins the faculty of Ohio Valley University's College of Education as an associate professor.

Rapp's position will include teaching professional education courses and working with student teachers.

Rapp's experience spans two decades and includes teaching high school sciences and math, as well as serving as a principal. She most recently worked as the principal of Lincoln High School in Idaho Falls, Idaho.

She earned a bachelor's degree in secondary education from Lubbock Christian College in Lubbock, Texas, and received a master's in guidance counseling from Prairie View A&M University in Prairie View, Texas. Rapp earned a Ph.D. in educational administration from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas.
