Ed and Erma Blume of Fleming recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married Sept. 1, 1961, at the Nazarene Church in Marietta by the late Noble Shirkey.
He is the son of the late Sharon and Helen Bell Blume. He served in the U.S. Air Force and retired from Thermo Forma (Forma Scientific). She is the daughter of the late Clifton and Wanda Becker Hill.
They are the parents of four children: Kevin, Kenneth and Steve Blume and Linda (Brett) McDougal. They also have four grandchildren: Joselyn Hermones, Rose Marie, Kimberlyn and Jeana Blume.
