Ronald W. and Carol R. Skeen of Parkersburg celebrated their 30th anniversary on Sept, 5.
They were married Sept. 5, 1981, at the Salvation Army Citadel in Cambridge, Ohio, by Major Harry Sault.
She is the daughter of the late William E. McConkey and Sarah Ruth "Ruth" McConkey of Warner, Ohio, formerly of Cambridge. He is the son of the late Benjamin W. and Mabel I. Skeen and the stepson of Janet King Skeen of Winfield, W.Va..

He is a retired plant worker and she is a homemaker and volunteer with Wood County, W.Va. Schools.
They are the parents of two children: Heather Skeen of Dunbar, W.Va. and Nicholas Skeen of the home.
A private celebration is planned.
