Gregory A. Carver and Summer R. Carmichael were united in marriage Aug 17, at "A Las Vegas Chapel" in Las Vegas Nev. Family and Friends viewed the wedding live via webcam provided by the chapel.
The bride is the daughter of Dan and Anita Carmichael of Belpre. She is a 1998 graduate of Belpre High School and a 2008 graduate of Washington State Community College with a degree in nursing. She works as an RN in the Emergency Room at St. Joseph's Campus.
The bridegroom is the son of Sandra and Ron Carver of Devola. He is a 1979 graduate of Marietta High School. He has bartended most of his adult life and currently is working at J.P. Henry's where he has worked nearly 16 years.
Following a five night stay in Las Vegas a reception was held at J.P. Henry's upon there return. Due to the couples love of animals guests of the reception were asked to bring dog/cat food so a donation could be made to the Humane Society. Over 800 lbs of dog/cat food and $1,000 in donations were collected. The couple would like to thank everyone for their generosity.
