Paul and Paula Byers of Marietta recently celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary in Oahu, Hawaii and spent time on Waikiki Beach.
They were married on April 18, 1981, in New Matamoras.
The couple have two sons: Timothy, who is a petroleum engineer, employed by Anadarko Petroleum, and his wife, Valarie, of Spring, Texas, with their one year old son, William; and Chad, who is currently pursuing his Doctorate in Applied Physics at Rice University in Houston, Texas.
Byers is employed by the U.S. Treasury Department in Parkersburg as an accountant in the office of the Public Debt.
