Solvay workers finish years of employment
* Dean Dishong recently completed 15 years of employment with Solvay Advanced Polymers, L.L.C.
Dishong joined the Marietta plant in 1996 as a chemical operator and is currently a mechanic. He lives in Reno.

Peoples hires VP, chief learning officer
Peoples Bank, National Association (Peoples Bank) has appointed Scott L. Walker to the position of vice president and chief learning officer. In this newly created role, Walker oversees institutional learning at both tactical and strategic levels. He is also responsible for leadership development and succession planning, implementing and maintaining education and training initiatives related to customer service, retail sales and service, commercial, insurance, operations and wealth management.
Walker has extensive experience in financial services as a licensed banker, branch manager, district manager and in many coaching and leadership assignments focused on sales, service and culture at Valley Bank in Arizona, which was later acquired by Bank One. Most recently, Walker served as senior vice president and Michigan retail leader for KeyBank. He is also a graduate of the Disney Service Institute. Walker resides in Mineral Wells, West Virginia with his wife, Cece, and their four children.
Peoples Bank hires home loan specialist
Peoples Bank, National Association (Peoples Bank) has hired Jack Getter as a home loan specialist. Getter will assist clients in Marietta with financing for a new home or refinancing a current home through one of the bank's wide range of home loan products.

Getter is a graduate of Gold Coast Mortgage Brokerage School located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and resides in Marietta with his wife and children. He has more than six years experience in Real Estate. Getter's office is located in the Peoples Bank Putnam Street office in downtown Marietta.
