Halloween events

Haunted house, 6 to 9 p.m., today, Training Tower behind the Bingo Hall, Belpre; presented by the Belpre Volunteer Fire Department; admission, canned food; (740) 423-9681.

Nelsonville Historic Arts District and Final Fridays on the Square Call For Zombies, 6 p.m., Friday, Nelsonville's Public Square; for all ages; Nelsonville Zombiewalk at 7:30 p.m. from the fountain; during Final Fridays, a monthly event featuring art openings, shopping, vendors, farmers market, and more from 6 to 10 p.m. on the last Friday of every month except December; (740) 753-1924 or brian@stuartsoperahouse.org.

Marietta Noon Lions Club's annual downtown Halloween Parade, lineup at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, Marietta College parking lot, corner of Third and Butler streets; parade begins at noon, Third Street to Putnam Street, right onto Front Street and ending at the Halloween in the Park event at Muskingum Park; parade free and open to the public; prizes in three categories and best overall costume; children must participate in parade to gain entrance to Halloween in the Park for games, food and treats for the whole family; no pets permitted in the parade; politicians and political materials of any type, including shirts, signs, badges or promotional materials, are strictly forbidden.

23th annual Halloween "At The Park", Saturday, following the parade; candy tickets for ages one to 12 years will be distributed to parade participants; free food, treats, games, clowns; sponsored by Kiwanis, Marietta Civitan Club, Marietta Noon Lions, Marietta Noon Rotary, Marietta Morning Rotary, Pioneer Ladies Civitan and Zonta; local merchants, area businesses, private donors and volunteers.

Planetarium shows
