Warren High School crowned their 2011 Homecoming King and Queen during a ceremony before the football game on Oct. 14.
Drew Arnold was named homecoming king. He is the son of Tom and Libby Arnold. Drew was a member of the soccer team. He is the president of student council, pep club and bass chorus. He also serves as secretary of A Cappella. He plans to go to college and major in history or geography and become a junior high history teacher.
Lauren Mazurkiewicz was crowned homecoming queen. She is the daughter of Mike and Connie Mazurkiewicz of Vincent. Lauren was a member of the varsity soccer team for four years. She has been a participant in A Cappella chorus, treble chorus and band. She is also a four-year member of student council. She is a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church and volunteers at the Red Cross homeless shelter and the Ohio River Sweep. Lauren plans to attend a four-year university to major in middle school education.
