Peoples Bancorp Inc. (Peoples) announces the promotion of four associates within its family of companies. All four associates reside in Marietta.
Laura Covault has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Personal Lines/Operations Manager for Peoples Insurance Agency, LLC. Covault is a Certified Professional Insurance Agent (CPIA) and holds more than 16 years experience in the insurance industry. She began working for Peoples in 1996.
Robyn Stevens has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Loan Review Officer. She leads the loan review department and has been an integral part of the team since joining Peoples in 1997. Stevens plays a key role in analyzing commercial loan quality and works closely with commercial lenders to ensure sound lending practices. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Marietta College.
Matt Edgell has been promoted to Vice President/Director of Treasury. Edgell has more than five years experience in the areas of Portfolio Investments, Treasury and Financial Consultation. Edgell earned a Bachelor of Arts in Finance from Ohio University in 2006 and is a graduate of Peoples' Professional Development Program. He also holds the Series 7 and 66 Professional Securities Licenses and spent four years in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Robert "Bo" Richardson has been promoted to the position of Strategic Analyst. In this newly created position, Richardson will assist with the planning, organizing, execution and tracking of strategic initiatives for Peoples. Richardson joined Peoples as a Professional Development Associate in August, 2010. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Finance from Marietta College in 2009 and his MBA from Ohio University in 2010.
