Monte and Joy Rowland of Cutler celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on Nov 20. They were married Nov. 20, 1971, in the Parkersburg Community Center by the Rev. Everett Snyder.
He is the son of Mabel Rowland and the late Ralph Dean Rowland of Waterford.
She is the daughter of the late Ben and Maxine Reed of Waterford.
The couple have three children: Buddy (Miki) Rowland, Jeannette (Matthew) Miller and Michelle Warehime.
They have four grandchildren: David Rowland, Michael Rowland, Sara Rowland, and Aaliyah Warehime.
The couple celebrated the day with family and friends.
