Mary McQuoid of Marietta, announces the engagement of her son, Christopher McQuoid to Greydan Powell. The wedding will be held in 2012, and is currently being planned.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of John and Leslie Powell of East Williston, New York. She is a 2000 graduate of The Wheatley School, and a 2006 graduate of Stony Brook University.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Mary McQuoid of Marietta, and Charles McQuoid, formerly of Marietta. He is the grandson of the late Helen and Joseph Brunny of Belpre, Ohio. He is also a 1995 graduate of Marietta High School, and a 1999 graduate of The Ohio State University.
The couple met in Brooklyn, N. Y., and plan to reside in Columbus, Ohio.
