John and Jane (Hill) Trautner will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary on Dec. 11. They were married Dec. 11, 1971, at Norwood United Methodist Church in Marietta by the Rev. Wesley Gebhard.
He is the son of Merlin and Dorothy (Lane) Trautner, both deceased. He is retired from RJF International, Inc., Marietta, after 39 years of service.
She is the daughter of Billy E. and Pearl (Miracle) Hill, both deceased. She is employed at Parmar Oil Company in Marietta as a retail audit supervisor.
They are the parents of Todd (Gwen) Trautner of Avon, Ohio and Adam (Sheila) Trautner of New Albany, Ohio.
The couple are members of Gilman United Methodist Church in Marietta.
They will celebrate their anniversary with a family dinner and a land and sea Alaska vacation in July of 2012.
