While the December graduates don't receive their Marietta College diplomas for a few more months, mid-year celebration is still a highly anticipated day for students.
Marietta College added more than 50 members to The Long Blue Line during the December Graduation Celebration on Dec. 11, on Fenton Court.
The ceremony was more laid back due to the fact that December ceremony recognizes the students' achievements that have allowed them to graduate. Marietta's more traditional commencement will be held at 1 p.m., Sunday, May 13.
Kim Davidson '11 (Cincinnati, Ohio), who will be graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, says she will miss all of the friendships and connections she has made while at Marietta College.
"My most memorable moment would have to be when I was at Fenton Court and witnessed the men's basketball team win the OAC Championship. I will never forget how crazy the crowd was how great it felt to be a part of Marietta College," Davidson said.
