Together with their parents, Rachel Nicole Dowler and Jeremy Ryan Hescht, announce their engagement.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Bryan and Karen Dowler of Fleming. She is the granddaughter of Jessie Tidd of Marietta, the late Owen Tidd of Marietta, and the late Herbert and Loretta Dowler of Fleming.
She is a 2003 graduate of Warren High School and a 2005 graduate of Washington State Community College. She is employed with Bradley Law Office in Parkersburg.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Roger and Belinda Hescht of Vienna. He is the grandson of Wayne Blair of Parkersburg, Ida Mae Blair of Vienna, Isa Mae Hescht of Williamstown and the late Earl Hescht of Williamstown.
He is a 2003 graduate of St. Marys High School and is employed with Simex in Waverly.
A wedding is being planned for May 19, 2012, at the Marietta Shrine Club with a reception to follow.
