Peoples Bank names VP, Small
Business Banker
Peoples Bank, National Association (Peoples Bank), has named Tom Betz to the position of vice president, Small Business Banker.
Betz, who has spent the last 10 years of his career as vice president regional manager for the eastern region of Peoples Bank's retail division, will now be responsible for maintaining and developing relationships with the company's small business clients in Washington, Wood and Wetzel counties.
Betz began his career in the financial services industry in 1989, and joined Peoples Bank in 2001. He earned a bachelor of arts from Mount Union College. He currently serves as chairman of the board for the Marietta Area Chamber of Commerce and the Marietta YMCA. He lives in Marietta with his wife and two daughters.

Solvay worker
honored for 25 years
Chuck Vaughan recently completed 25 years of employment with Solvay Specialty Polymers.
Vaughan joined the Marietta plant in 1986 as a laboratory technician. He lives in Marietta with his wife, Kristina, and has two children, Stephanie and Chuck.
