Together with their parents, Michelle Eileen Mackey and Nicholas Lee Brown announce their engagement and approaching marriage.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Mark and Barbara Mackey of Reno. She is a 2007 graduate of Marietta High School, a 2009 graduate of Washington State Community College with an associate degree of nursing, and a 2010 graduate of West Virginia University with a bachelor's degree of nursing. She is employed at Marietta Memorial Hospital as registered nurse.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Brenda Waterman of Lower Salem and Dan Brown of Reno. He is a 2005 graduate of Fort Frye High School and a 2008 graduate of Washington State Community College with a degree in electrical engineering. He is currently employed at IBEW local 972 of Reno, Ohio.
They will exchange marriage vows on Feb. 18, 2012, at Valley View Baptist Church in Reno, Ohio. A reception will follow at The Marietta Shrine Club.
