Dr. Jacqueline Khorassani and Dr. Greg Delemeester would like to announce the engagement of their son, CPT Payum Doroodian, to Bhakti Patel, daughter of Raman and Kiran Patel.
The prospective bridegroom was born and raised in Athens, Ohio. In 2009, he graduated from Santa Clara University, School of Law and passed the California State Bar exam. In 2010, he commissioned as a JAG officer in the U.S. Army and currently lives in Washington state.
The bride-to-be was born and raised in San Jose, Calif. In 2010, she completed her undergraduate work at Santa Clara University and obtained a Bachelor of Science in psychology. She hopes to pursue her Masters Degree in marriage and family therapy. Currently, she works as a Rehab Coordinator for Brighton Rehabilitation in Washington state
The couple met in Santa Clara, Calif. in 2009. A summer wedding is planned.
