The bride-to-be is the daughter of Mark and Marcella Swaney of Marietta. She is a Marietta High School and Ohio University graduate. She currently works as a kindergarten teacher at Harmar Elementary School of Marietta.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Gilbert and Cindy Woods of Marietta. He is a graduate of Marietta High School and Hocking College. He currently works as a project manager for Brand Energy of Marietta.
The wedding date is set for July 28, 2012 in Marietta.
