Area brides, grooms and teens are invited to attend Bridal and Prom Expo 2012, a "Winter Wonderland," from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Lafayette Hotel ballrooms in Marietta.
"This is our second year at the Lafayette, and it's free and open to the public," said Sam Yoho, co-owner with Tom Taggart, of Seven Ranges Radio, Inc. (local FM stations v96.9 and Lite Rock 93R).
Seven Ranges is co-sponsoring the bridal and prom show with Faye's Boutique and Panera Bread in Vienna, W.Va.
"The response to our first event was fantastic, and it's growing," Yoho said. "This year we'll have 31 vendors, prom and bridal floor shows every half hour, door prizes, coupons for free gifts, and a grand prize package at the end of the event."
In addition, this year's expo will feature antique cars on display outside the Lafayette Hotel.
"We primarily see a lot of mothers and daughters at this show, but guys, including fiances and fathers, are more than welcome, too," Yoho added.
Vendor displays will include flowers, pencil portraits, jewelers, photographers, disc jockeys, rental services, hotels, and many others.
The Lafayette Hotel is located at 101 Front St. in downtown Marietta.
