The Marietta Times

Rebecca S. Longfellow and David M. Campbell were united in marriage on Aug. 6, 2011, at Souls Harbor Baptist Church. The ceremony was officiated by Dr. Robert E. Hughes, pastor.

The bride is the daughter of Chester (Ted) and Sandra Wilson of Marietta and Richard and Diana Longfellow of Dallas, Texas. She is a 1990 graduate of Frontier High School and is attending Washington State Community College. She is currently employed at Sheila's Hair Shoppe as a stylist.

The bridegroom is the son of Buddy and Carolyn Campbell of Marietta. He is a 1985 graduate of Marietta High School and is employed by Ferguson Water Works as a warehouse supervisor.

Rebecca Stuyvesant served as maid of honor. Duane Brannan served as best man. Hannah Campbell, daughter of the bridegroom, served as junior bridesmaid and Joshua Swartz, son of the bride, served as groomsman. Janie Collins was the guest book attendant. Music selections were presented by Rhonds Ludwig on the piano.

After exchanging vows the couple commemorated their marriage with the celebration of a salt covenant.

Following the ceremony a reception was held in the church's fellowship hall where the ladies of the church served. The hall was adorned with a 4 1/2 foot wishing well that complemented the couple's wedding theme. A smaller version adorned the sanctuary.

The couple honeymooned at Put-In-Bay in Lake Erie.

Together with their children, they reside at 112 Tennis Center Drive in Marietta.
