Together with their parents, Alisha Rose Ewing and Kevin Joseph Rook of Gahanna announce their engagement and approaching marriage.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Loren and Beverly Ewing of Marietta. She is the granddaughter of Glen and Rosemary Weckbacher and Aunekia Ewing and the late Howard Ewing, all of Marietta. She is a 2004 graduate of Marietta High School and is a merchandiser for Macy's at Easton Town Center.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Kevin D. and Susan Rook of Ocala, Fla. He is the grandson of Gail Rook and the late George Rook of Watterboro, S.C. and the late John and Rose Bulkley of Corning, N.Y. He is a 2000 graduate of Lake Weir High School and is a kitchen manager for Logan's Roadhouse.
The couple will exchange vows on May 12, 2012, in Marietta.
