Mike and Vicky Lauer of Marietta announce the engagement of their youngest daughter, Kayla Di-Ayne Lauer to Kyle Corey Antill, son of Greg and Carol Antill of Marietta.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Paul and the late Leona Doan of Marietta, and Ann and the late Noble Lauer of Sardis. She is a 2006 graduate of Marietta High School and a 2010 graduate of Shawnee State University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in psychology. She is currently pursuing a master's degree in occupational therapy at Shawnee State University and is expected to graduate in December.
The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Rich and Betty Gillon and Sally and the late Gilbert Antill of Marietta. He is a 2006 graduate of Marietta High School and received his Firefighter 240 certification from Hocking College. He is currently employed with Creative Landscapes.
The couple will be married on Dec. 15, 2012, at St. Marys Catholic Church in Marietta, with a reception to follow at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Churchtown.
The couple will reside in Marietta.
