Emily Moore and Matt Mallett of Marietta, along with their parents, announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of David and Valerie Moore of Marietta. She is the granddaughter of Dorothea Summerville of Marietta, the late Eugene Summerville, and the late Clarence and Irene Moore.
She is a 2007 graduate of Marietta High School and a 2010 graduate of Washington State Community College School of Nursing. She is employed by Dr. Peter Filozof, as an LPN.
The bridegroom is the son of Doug and Becky Mallett of Marietta. He is the grandson of Lola Jackson of Marietta, Elsa Mallett of Lebanon, Ohio, the late James U. Mallett, and the late Al and Twila Theis.
He is a 2003 graduate of Marietta High School, a 2006 graduate of Washington State Community College and attended Ohio University. He is employed by Mallett Rentals.
The wedding is being planned for June 16, 2012, at First Baptist Church of Marietta, with dinner and dancing to follow the ceremony at the Marietta Shrine Club.
