Rodney and LeeAnn Thomas of Newport announce the engagement of their daughter, Brittany Jean Thomas to Brandon Lee Moore, of Wingett Run.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Richard and Dorothy Thomas of Newport, Robert and Geraldine Stewart of Newport, and the late Jean Stewart.
She is a 2009 graduate of Frontier High School and full-time student at Washington State Community College.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Brian and Linneau Moore of Wingett Run. He is the grandson of Clearence and Mary Moore of Marietta, and Gilbert and Wanda Ward of Wingett Run.
He is a 2006 graduate of Frontier High School and attended two years at the Washington County Career Center. He is employed by Electronic Design For Industry
The open ceremony is being planned for 5:30 p.m., July 21, 2012, at the American Legion in Marietta with a reception immediately following.
