Ralph and Sandra Hines of Browns Road, Marietta, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Feb 6. They were married by the late Rev. Noble Shirkey at the First Church Of The Nazarene in Marietta.
He is the son of the late Heber and Marjorie Hines and she is the daughter of the late Roy and Ruth Hayes.
He is retired from AEP in Beverly and she is retired from The Bureau Of The Public Debt in Parkersburg.
The couple have three children: Kimberly Henderson (Freeman) of Fleming, Keith Hines of Asheboro, N.C., and Kirk Hines (Marchelle) of Marietta.
They also have seven grandchildren: Braden (Katie), Aaron and Michelle Henderson or Fleming, Haley Hines of Linthicum, Md., and Corey, Carley and Makayla Hines of Marietta.
The couple's children gave them a trip to Niagara Falls, which they will take later this year.
