Rotary Club of Marietta will be offering scholarships. Scholarships will be awarded in two categories; Academic Achievement and Career/Technical Programs. Amounts will be up to $2000 per scholarship. Applications and complete details regarding the scholarship are available from guidance counselors or online at mariettarotaryclub.org. Applications must be postmarked by April 2 to be considered.
The following guidelines will be considered in the selection process. Primary Consideration: community service, scholarship, employment or internships and extracurricular activities. Secondary Consideration: acceptance at an accredited college, technical school or school of nursing and financial need.
Rotary would like to emphasize that while academic achievement is taken into consideration, the Marietta Noon Rotary Scholarship committee looks at all of the primary criteria, especially Community Service, in determining which students are awarded the scholarship.
Selection of the candidates will be made by April 26. Applications must be complete to be considered.
