Together with their parents, Karla Sue Brammer and Hesham Ezzat Khalifa announce their engagement and approaching marriage.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Jeff and Kay Brammer of Lowell, Ohio. She is a 2002 graduate of Marietta High School, a 2006 graduate of The Ohio State University, and a 2011 graduate of the University of California, San Diego with a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering. She is employed at Diversified Nano Corporation, San Diego as a scientist and the Director of Research and Development.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Ez and Shadia Khalifa of Manlius, N.Y. He is a 2000 graduate of Fayetteville-Manlius High School, a 2004 graduate of Cornell University, and a 2009 graduate of the University of California, San Diego with a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering. He is currently employed at General Atomics, San Diego as a scientist.
They will exchange marriage vows on April 21, 2012, at Ponte Winery in Temecula, Calif. A reception will follow.
