The Castle will offer three programs during the latter part of March and the first of April at 418 Fourth St. in Marietta.
The Trillium Piano Trio will present "French Finesse," part of the Spring Salon Series, from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Castle. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students.
For more information, contact 373-4180 or visit www.mariettacastle.org.
The concert program will explore the delicacy and lightness of French music by composers such as Rameau, Debussy, Poulenc and Satie. There will be conversations about the composers and their music as well as refreshments.
In honor of the Easter holiday, The Castle will hold a free Easter Egg Decorating Day from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. March 31.
The event is for children up to age 12, but parents are welcome to help their child. It is not a contest, just a day for children to experience the joy of creating their very own Easter Egg, and have a chance to win a door prize.
The Castle will be opening for the 2012 season on April 1, with visitors welcome from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, Thursday and Friday and 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday through the spring and summer.
Tours will start at The Castle Carriage House and will take visitors back to a time of elegance, etiquette and grace with a tour of The Castle, a Gothic revival home. Tours are $7 for adults, $6.50 for seniors and $4 for students. Group tours of 10 and more should make reservations.
For all events, limited handicap parking is available in the alley (High School Lane) behind The Castle, between Fourth and Fifth streets. All other parking is on Fourth or Wooster streets.
