Easter events being held this weekend include:

The Newport United Methodist Church Youth is sponsoring a community Easter egg hunt from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Newport Elementary School gym.

The event is for grades pre-K through four. The Easter story will be told through different stations, activities and crafts for children to enjoy. Toddlers will have a special section designated for them to take their time in the Easter egg hunt.

The church will be having an open communion from 2 to 4 p.m. that day at the church.

The First Presbyterian Church of Williamstown is hosting a community-wide Easter egg hunt at 1 p.m. Saturday at the church, 314 West Fifth St.

The event is for all ages. For information, contact the church office at 304-375-6211.

The Belpre Easter egg hunt will be 1 p.m. Saturday at the Civitan Gazebo in Belpre.

The Reno Lions Club will hold a breakfast and Easter egg hunt Saturday at the Marietta Township Recreation Center, 260 Sandhill Road, Reno.

A pancake and sausage breakfast will be served from 8 to 11 a.m. at the center, with the egg hunt for children up to age 12 to follow at 11 a.m.

An Easter egg hunt will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Inman-Liberty Park in Warren Township. Activities and refreshments will follow in the Tunnel United Methodist Church multi-purpose building at Coffman Road and Ohio 550.

In Marietta, North Hills Baptist Church will hold an Easter egg hunt from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the church, 108 Stonecrest Drive. The event is for all children up to 12 years of age.

The Lowell Masonic Lodge will have an Easter egg hunt at 1 p.m. Saturday by the ball fields on Buell Island.

The annual Easter egg hunt at the Oak Grove Volunteer Fire Department will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday at the firehouse.

Sand Hill United Methodist Church in Reno is having an Easter egg hunt at 2 p.m. Saturday for children 10 years old and younger. There will be prizes and snacks. The public is invited.

The Washington County Fish and Game Club will hold its annual Easter egg hunt at 2 p.m. Sunday at the clubhouse in Whipple. The hunt is for children ages 1 to 12 and there will be a grandparents group. The event is for members only.

The Beverly Lions Club and the Muskingum Valley Leo Club will be sponsoring the Beverly-Waterford Easter egg hunt at noon Saturday in Dodge Park in Beverly.

It is for children preschool through grade four. Participants are to bring their own baskets. Prizes will be awarded.
