John "Jack" and Janet Lang of Waterford announce the engagement of their daughter, Melanie Renee Lang to Charley James Miller of Parkersburg, son of Robert Miller and Shelly Miller of Belpre.
The bride-to-be will graduate from Marietta College in May in Human Resources Management and is currently employed at the Olive Garden in Vienna, W.Va.
The prospective bridegroom attended Marshall University and is currently employed at Murdoch's River City Grill in Parkersburg.
The wedding will take place at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Beverly. A reception will follow at the Knights of Columbus in Churchtown.
