From staff reports , Special to The Times

The Marietta High School baseball team completed its trip to "The Ripken Experience" in Myrtle Beach, S.C.

Marietta High School's baseball team returned late Saturday night from its spring training trip to The Ripken Experience in Myrtle Beach, S.C.. Despite a couple days of rain during their four days of "baseball at the beach," the Tigers were able to get in a couple of practices and win two of the three games played.

The Tigers returned home with a two-game winning streak (4-5 overall) and lifetime memories of a baseball trip to a remarkable baseball facility. The players and coaches greatly appreciate the support of everyone who helped make the trip posssible by purchasing raffle tickets & magazine subscriptions and the generous monetary donations.
