Basket bingo in Oak Grove on Sunday
The Friends of Selby General Hospital will offer basket bingo Sunday at the Oak Grove Recreation Center. Doors open at 1 p.m. and games begin at 2. There will be an early bird drawing for those who buy tickets before Sunday.
Tickets can be purchased by Friends of Selby General Hospital members or by calling 525-2302. There will also be a 50/50 drawing, door prizes, concessions and raffles.
Relay for Life team sponsors volleyball
The Trucking For A Cure Relay for Life team is sponsoring a volleyball tournament on April 28 at Ewing School. Participants should sign up individually and teams will be randomly drawn. The format will be round-robin with best win/loss record. The entry deadline is Sunday.

Warren foundation sponsors volleyball
The Warren High School Community Foundation at Warren High School will host a volleyball tournament beginning at 6 p.m. Thursday in the high school gymnasium. The tournament will be played by boys in 9th though 12th grades being coached by members of the Warren High School girls varsity volleyball team. The tournament will consist of two teams per grade, beginning with the freshman class, and culminating in a match-up of the girls' varsity team and the winning boys team. The public is invited to attend. There will be a $3 entry fee at the door and other fundraising activities including a 50/50 drawing. Funds raised through the volleyball tournament will support the Alzheimer's Association's 24/7 Education and Support Helpline and Care Consultation programs.
MHS Class of '52 plans luncheon
The Marietta High School Class of 1952 will have its monthly luncheon at 11 a.m. April 25 at the Holiday Inn on Pike Street. All classmates and friends are invited.

The 116th annual inspection of Aurelius Chapter #60 Order of The Eastern Star will be at 7:30 p.m. April 24 at the Macksburg Masonic Temple on Broad Street in Macksburg.
