Heather Irene Skeen and Bradford Michael Moreland were united in marriage on April 3, in Charleston, W.Va. Judge Kenneth Ballard officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Ronald and Carol Skeen of Parkersburg.
She is the granddaughter of the late William E. and Sarah Ruth McConkey and the late Benjamin W. and Mabel Skeen and Janet Skeen of Winfield, W.Va.
The bridegroom is the son of Russell and Julia Moreland of Parkersburg. He is the grandson of Wanda Buckley of Parkersburg and the late Marion Buckley and Karl and June Moreland of Deerwalk.
The bride wore a floral patterned dress with a yellow jacket and matching yellow accessories.
The bride is a graduate of West Virginia University at Parkersburg with a degree in elementary education. She is employed by Kanawha County Schools as a fifth grade teacher at Cedar Grove Elementary School, Cedar Grove, W.Va.
The bridegroom is a graduate of West Virginia University at Parkersburg with a degree in computer information technology and is also a graduate of Marietta College with a degree in education. He is employed by Kanawha County Schools as a math teacher at Nitro High School, Nitro, W.Va..
A delayed honeymoon is planned for the summer.
A wedding reception will be held for the newlyweds in Parkersburg over the summer.
The couple reside in Dunbar, W.Va.
