Jeremy Grosklos hands Marietta Fire Chief C.W. Durham a flower basket Thursday morning on Front Street in Marietta. Volunteers spent the morning hanging the baskets on poles throughout the city. They hung two baskets on 132 poles, for a total of 264 baskets. The flowers were purchased by the ReStore Marietta organization using funds raised through events such as the Red, White and Blues Fest and the ReStore Marietta Garden Party. The flower baskets were purchased from Devola-based L.E. Huck & Sons Greenhouses.
