The Marietta College Pioneers claimed their sixth national championship and second straight with a 7-2 victory over Wheaton Wednesday, according to the college website.
The Pioneers defeated St. Thomas 5-0 earlier Wednesday.
Marietta College has now won national championships in 1981, 1983, 1986, 2006, 2011 and 2012.
Senior Brian Gasser got the win for the Pioneers.
To win the 2012 championship, the Pioneers had to advance through the loser's bracket and finished 5-1 in the series.
