It's so big it can't be contained at one location. It's so bad it can't all happen in one day.
The third annual Thunder Road Madness motorcycle rally will wheel into Williamstown for an epic event Friday through Sunday. Hosted and organized by S&P Harley-Davidson and the Greater Parkersburg Convention and Visitors Bureau, the event is expected to attract thousands of motorcycle enthusiasts from throughout the region.
"We anticipate 5,000 motorcyclists will roll into town this weekend," said Patsy Hardy, S&P Harley-Davidson owner and event organizer. "Every detail of the weekend has been designed to be high energy and entertaining. We're ready for a busy weekend and can't wait to show off this region."
"The CVB is always looking for opportunities to increase the number of events that attract visitors for overnight stays. Thunder Road Madness does just that," said Mark Lewis, Greater Parkersburg CVB president-elect.
