The Morgan County Sheriff's Office continues to seek information as to the whereabouts of a victim and suspect involved in a suspected shooting on June 12.
According to the sheriff's office, a call for assistance was placed that day stating that two males were arguing and Timmy Stevens, 39, last known address of 1206 Greenwood Ave., Zanesville, allegedly shot John Davis III, 36, last known address of 8565 Smith-Calhoun Road Lot 124, Plain City, three times in the head. The shooting reportedly occurred on Morgan County Road 2 south of Malta.
When officers arrived, both the suspect and the victim had left the scene together in a white Kia with Kentucky registration heading south toward Stockport.
Wednesday evening police said they had still not located either Stevens or Davis.
Davis is wanted in Morgan and Washington counties for felony warrants and in Muskingum County on a misdemeanor warrant.
Police said Davis should be considered armed and dangerous as he has been avoiding apprehension for more than six months and has an extensive violent criminal history.
At the time of the incident, Stevens was also listed as armed and dangerous, according to police.
On June 14, the Morgan County Sheriff's Office recovered the vehicle involved in the incident and it is being processed by the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation.
Further details of the case were unavailable Wednesday.
