John David Gardner, 53, of Lewisville, Ohio died of cancer. John departed this life for a better, pain free one at 12:05 a.m. June 25, 2012.
John was a 1977 graduate of Skyvue High School, a son of A. Diane and Madison J. Gardner. Also surviving are siblings: Kent E. Gardner (Deb Dean) of Charleroi, Pa., Veronica G. (Vicki) Crawford of St. Clairsville, Ohio, Reggie L. Gardner (Debbie) of Marietta, Jeffrey B. Gardner (Wanda) of Graysville, Ohio, JoAnne Whitely Babcock of St. Augustine, Fla.; uncles, David Allan Coe of Daytona Beach, Fla., Jimmy Coburn (Jan) of Copley, Ohio; Mintor Ray Coburn (Denna) of Montrose, Calif.; Aunt Gladys Crum of Waverly, Tenn.; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and many friends.
He was preceded in death by two brothers: Ricky C. Gardner, Nov. 11, 2007, Terry Joe Gardner, Dec. 19, 2011; grandparents, Donald M. Coe Jr. and Lucille, Dorothy R. Landrum and Paul, and Merry and Gerry Snyder.

At John's request there are no services and no memorial. Arrangements by Watters Funeral Home, Woodsfield, Ohio.
