Ellinor Ann Scott Wallace, 81, of Lowell, Ohio, passed away Sunday (July 1, 2012) at her residence.
She was born Jan. 26, 1931, in Sewickley, Pa., to the late Wylie Austin and Alice Huberta Brawley Scott. She graduated from Moon Township High School in Carnot, Pa., in 1948 and Sewickley Valley Hospital School of Nursing in 1951.
Ellinor retired as an registered nurse from Marietta Memorial Hospital. She also worked at New England Deaconess Hospital in Boston, Mass., as well as Rhode Island Hospital. She volunteered for Hospice, 4-H, Boy Scouts, and was a member and worker at the Washington Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Marietta.

She is survived by her children, Gary Lee (Janet) Wallace of Fleming, Ohio, Vicki Lynn (David) Walters of Coshocton, Ohio, Jamie Linda Wallace of Lowell, Ohio, Charles Wylie (Michele) Wallace of Lowell, Ohio, and David Alan (Robin) Wallace of Fleming; grandchildren, Michael Lee Wallace, Brandon Lee (Kelly) Wallace, Zachery David (Lisa) Walters, Chelsey Nicole Walters, Melissa Sue (Brett) Nicolas, Grant Alan Wallace, Aaron Lee Wallace, Natalie Jo (Cody) Wagner, Alex Christopher Wallace, Alisha Dawn McKnight and Kalsey Marie Wallace; great-grandchildren Cole Wagner, Abby LeAnn, Austin Lee, Landon, Alexis, Alayna, Madison, and Xavier Wallace; sister, Martha Jean Taylor; brothers, Charles Edward Scott and Wylie Austin Scott; nieces, nephews, cousins; and many special friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Lee Wallace; a great-grandson, Charlie Howard McKnight; and a dear friend, Gail Clare.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 10 a.m. to noon and 5 to 7 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints, 1503 Glendale Road Marietta, where the service will be held on Wednesday 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Newport Cemetery.
