Beverly United Methodist Church
Beverly United Methodist Church will be held July 8 through 12 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the church. Babylon-Daniel's Courage in Captivity will be an action packed week that is full of adventure. Children will travel back in time and experience some of the sights, sounds, and smells of ancient Babylon. As they do so they will also hear about Daniel, and how he was able to keep the faith in a faithless culture. Though the times were different the root of the challenge that we face is the same.

Sixth and Washington Streets Church of Christ
All Aboard the Kingdom Express Vacation Bible School is scheduled for Sixth and Washington Streets Church of Christ in Marietta July 9 through July 13 from 9 until 11:30 a.m. each day.
The event is open to children ages 2 1/2 years old through grade 6. The "Staying On The Right Track In A Troubled World" theme begins with lessons such as Stay on Track by Standing up, Standing Out, and Being Different (Daniel 3), by Making Good Choices (Daniel 6), by Thinking of Others (Esther 2-7), by Choosing the Right Friends (Mark 2:1-12), and by Putting Jesus First (Luke 10:38-42). Milk and cookies will be served daily with a light luncheon on Friday. There will be crafts, fellowship and Bible lessons for life.

Summer Vacation Bible School at the Gilman United Methodist Church, 312 Gilman Ave., Marietta, will be from 6 to 8:30 p.m. July 22 through 26. Ages 4 through fifth grade are eligible. Lowell United Methodist Church
Lowell Ecumenical Vacation Bible School will be July 23 to 27 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at Lowell United Methodist Church, 323 Fourth St., Lowell. Children ages pre-school to sixth grade are invited to join in for adventures in the rain forest.

First Presbyterian and Christ United Methodist Churches
First Presbyterian and Christ United Methodist Churches present "Daniel's Courage" Vacation Bible School. Vacation Bible School is co-sponsored by First Presbyterian and Christ United Methodist churches in Marietta will be held from 9 a.m. to noon, July 30 to Aug. 3, at the churches' locations on Wooster Street.
The two churches are teaming up for a week of "Babylon: Daniel's Courage in Captivity" Vacation Bible School. Area children from 3 years of age to those who have completed the fifth grade are invited to come and learn all about Daniel, his challenges and adventures with his friends.
The week will include stories, music, crafts, games, snacks, and more. Children will also be on the lookout each day for "God sightings."
